frog Design Research Practice
I helped build a global community of design researchers, and collaborated with fellow frogs to train staff, develop methods, create a knowledge base, grow business, and lead projects.
Below is an example of one part of a Design Research (DR) Fundamentals training course given to new staff and for existing frogs to brush up on their skills.

I curated and created an editable slide presentation that frog pursuit teams used to inform new client proposals and pitches. The content was sourced from the global studios, design research practitioners, and creative leads.

I led the writing, design, and development of quick-reference tools that frog design teams used to plan and execute qualitative research, prototyping, and testing.
McCombs School of Business Design Vision Document
During my time at fd2s, I led a research and planning project to help the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin improve their existing campus site and facilities while they raised money for a new building.
I’ve collaborated with Frost Bank since 2000, designing iterations of their authenticated website experience where customers can manage accounts and pay bills. While at frog, I co-led the development of a refreshed Design Language system that appealed to new customers while serving existing ones.

I collaborated with The Summer Studio, a boutique Design consultancy with a unique model: From September to May we teach design at the best universities in the nation. In the summer, we come together to work on complex client projects.
In the summer of 2024, we worked with Austin’s local NRP radio station, KUT/KUTX, to explore how we might increase financial support for public media among digital users.
